Pax Vampyrica is a variant of Vtes I thought of. It basically removes a combat labeled cards. But it still allows you to play cards that help you in combat. This way we will get hefty political and bleed decks. But also makes the kindred quiet vulnerable in combat against allies and vampires with built in strength, prevent or other strike mechanisms.

Cards that we'll never see...

I just made these two cards. You may not like them. But I do ;)

I'd really like to see cards based on Malkavian graffiti (crap typo in card!) . And I figured that the place for a graffiti would be on somebody else's location.

As I intended with this card, was that you could use other's locations. Get +1 hand size on elder library, tap KRCG for +1 intercept or get blood from a hunting ground.

This next card is a card Potence should have received.

After the death of Vtes, I thought that VtM now would soon perish for ever. But today I read at Manituan's blogg that CCP is not making the WoD:MMO with the WOD 2.0 rules. But with Vampire:tM instead! That is great news. If this game becomes a success, White Wolf should consider making new cards. Let's face it, WoW is producing a card game. Sure, it did not go as good as they hoped, but Vtes already has a big fan base already. Let's hope, in 2012/13 we get an announcement about a 4ed Vtes set based on the WOD:MMO!

V:tes is dead! There har been talk about this a long time, but now it's official. It's a sad day. I hope that, when this day would come, WW whould release a final set to tie thing together. But I guess their not.

Even though the game is dead. It will still live on. It's such a big part of my life, and bunch of other player's lives. It will continue. But eventually it will be harder to gather enough players for a game.

Thanks to everybody that has been apart of this game. And a bigger thanks to anyone that will continue to play this game.

Deck testing on LackeyCCG

Hi all!

I just thought I'd talk a little about deck testing. Well, when I make a deck, I prefer to test my deck before I bring it to a game. Now before I used to shuffle my deck, make some draws and decide if it was ok. But after I found LackeyCCG I was quite happy. Now I've only tried a game on LackeyCCG once. That was fine, but a little slow. But using it as a deck tester works great. Now this is what I do:

First I add my deck to the library. Then I "load it to you". And then I find a deck to play against. And load it to my bot. I start the game by rolling a dice to see how starts. The starting player gets 2 transfers and the second one gets 4 transfers. And all other fases continue as normal. Now in two player games, there are some trouble with Deflections and KRCs. If a player playes deflection I let the action be successfully, as if he bleeds another player. KRCs I let the player place 3 damage on his prey and just forget the last one. Now I do this to not let these cards be waste. They are an important card in a "normal" game, and should be included. Now the I have mostly used KOT: Ventrue, 3rd: Tremere Anti, Brujah Anti decks as opponents. These have worked ok. But I would like to find some more tournament worthy (and easy to play) decks. Any suggestions?

Now I wonder if anybody else use LackeyCCG to test there deck? Do you have any other things you do while testing it?

New Events

Hello there!

It's been some time since my last post. I guess the summer sun has knocked me out. I got an idea for a new Card type. And that is Event days or Date. The basic idea is to incorporate some important dates from the V:tM Cannon Timeline. Now you can't play dates that are older than other dates in play. If for instants if the Date for the Assamite Schism is played, then the Date for lifting the Curse can't be played, since the date has already been passed. (Ok, I don't remember the exact dates, so don''t kill me.)

Any thoughts?

New Imbued Cards!

Hello fellow VAMPIRE: the Eternal Struggle players. Yes, I know this game is called Vampire for a reason. But, after my last tournament, I am still in love with these Imbueds. When ever I appear with them, people start scratching their head and wonder "wtf is he up to now?". Well, anything is possible, except vote I guess. Now the card on the right side --------->

was banned a couple of years ago. And frankly, I did not shed a single tear when it happen. Now the imbueds are much more complex to play and face. Now you really have to focus on a virtue or two! Much more fun. I've never won a tournament with them. But I think that might be because I always fall in the lots-of-gehenna-cards trap.

It's now been 4 years since Nights of Reckoning was released. 60 (now 59) cards that changed vtes forever. I feel it's time to release some more cards with Imbueds! I'm not sure how the set sold, but if they didn't sell enough. A singel starter would be great also. With reprints of some of the most valuable from NoR, like Champion. And new cards. And here I have some suggestions.

What I have noticed while playing them is that they often lack press.

More True Faith's would be cool.

More anti-hunt cards would be cool. Now the unfortunate vampire picked a imbued to slake his thirst. Bad move!

Now, Wormwood whould be good.

Norwegian ECQ Epilog

Well, then the Norwegian ECQ is over. It was great fun! Good to see all the players that we don't see every tournament. This was also the tournament where I really lost my temper. Now this has never happened before, and I'm sorry. But it was well justified. I'll keep the rest for the Norwegian players. After 3 rounds and a final. The results were:

Now as you can see, this deck did not work. 0,5 vp is not good. It did however have promise. Maybe Martyrdom was not the correct thing to focus on. The use of wormwood got every vampires down to at least 5 caps. And Fall of the Camarilla destroyed the Inner Circle decks that was present. One table there were 3 IC decks. Storage Annex was also very good in this deck. Project, again, was great. But the deck lacked ousting power. In a casual game, while the finalists where playing, I made an oust. So I guess I just have to play a little more aggressively. Another reason I only got 0,5 vps, was table hate. Now I knew I would get that, so the problem was defense against it. Well, anyway, I ain't planning to go to Paris, so I figuered that I'll play something different.

Battle Lines: Oslo Epilogue & Raport

In Black Forrest of Germany, Aksinya Daclau had signed a alliance with the Abominations. The pariah of the kindred world just wanted some place to fit in. Neither accepted by the Sabbat or the Camarilla and shunned by their Garou heritage. But now, Aksinya could guide them. Aksinya had sensed that the infamous Baali was after the Bahari knowledge. But somehow Mary the Black seemed to think that she could find what she was looking in the song of the Daughters of Cacophony.

Adonai also was well aware of the Daughters singing. Thou their motive was still concealed, he guessed they where after some sort of feminism idol. This strange clan was only embracing females , so following Lillith was not so far fetched. Adonai knew that the knowledge of the Baharian's would be very dangerous in the hands of the daughters. But the Salubri antitribu clan would much certainly gain alot with this knowledge. The only thing that seemed to be in the Salubri's way was the Loyalist Harbringer of Skulls. These ancient Cappadocians knew they had to fight this new quest for the knowledge of Lillith. Egothha had seen Nicomedes stray from his clan and join Adonai and his Baharian Quest. Egothha wanted non of this. And decided to gather the Harbringers for an assault on the Bahari leader Aksinya Daclau. If they stopped her, they would stop the whole movement.

Mary the Black had found the unnamed. The writings of the Bahari had come in handy. With Striga magic Mary had been guided in the right direction. But, in the rest of Germany, the Salubri Antitribu had encouraged the Anarch Revolt. And now they where revolting. Mary fought these influences but they where steep. During a time of weakness Aksinya and Lorrie Dunsirn made their move. The duo jumped the unnamed and they fought long and hard. All three had to fall to topor. But the unnamed was the first to rise. And it found the sleeping body of Aksinya. Soon his thirst was quenched with her blood. But unfortunately, a reporter from RTL had taken a picture of the unnamed. And soon everybody in Germany had seen the picture of the Beast in the woods. The Salubri saw what had happend to Lorrie. Now Adonai was quite afraid of what the Baali could accomplish, so they found the sleeping body of Lorrie and waked her. Lorrie was furious of what the unnamed had done to her leader. And jumped her. Knowing this would happen, the Furies had called Mary in to meet with the Anarch leaders of Germany. When Mary found out what had happened, she decided she would give up the search for Lillith. Clearly the unnamed was not Lillith. She did not know what the unnamed was.

With the Baali out of the picture. The Daughters found the Anarchs to devastating. And decided to vote for a chance in Germany. A part of the revolt stopped for a while. But this was not enough. So they joined their cause instead. But, again, a reporter from RTL found a great singing talent. And the Daughters Anarch Leader was now the most promising talent in Germany. But after a meeting with Lorrie. This singer stopped showing up to TV-performances . So the Singers decided to flee. Now Adonai called upon Smiling Jack. And Jack was happy to obey. The Skulls thought the Anarchs was nothing to worry about. But suddenly they where tearing down their slaughter houses. And the Harbringers retreated to the shadowlands. Lorrie, being the puppet to Adonai. Soon also had to reside.

8 players meet in Oslo NORWAY, to play this tournament. It was some of the sickest decks I've ever meet in a tournament. The finals had a uneasy feeling in the beginning. But after a while it exploded.

Ma-ry had kept her head down for 800 years. But now she could not keep her eyes closed anymore. She was close to discover the secret of the unnamed. The soul of Mi-ka-il flinched inside of her each time she tought about her. For yes, Ma-ry was now certain, the unnamed must be a woman. If gender really matters for a creature that ancient. But for Ma-ry, the gender of the creature not as important as who she is. After spending years following the Baharians. She knew they would have answers for her. Could the unnamed be Lillith herself!?! In Germany, Ma-ry had discovered a small meat packing and storage factory in Düsseldorf. At night, several young nameless baali flocked to this factory. Could the Dark Mother be hiding inside? Could she call out the great beast?

I won't go through all of these vampires. Let's take a look at the ones that don't have a advance version. Then the list narrows to Claudio, Dmitra, Elizabeth, Eze, Lucinde, Toby. I'll skip Claudio since he's as new as my little son.

Dmitra is a great vampire superstar. She'll work great in a Daughter vote deck. I guess I would have used her in that. CEL FOR and POT is also great with Angelo (Blood Brother)

Another Daughter vamp. But I don't realy see any great use for her in this tournament. Maybe if you make a Cel Harbringer deck.

Laibon magaji: Eze gets 1 additional vote. Once each turn when Eze successfully performs a non-hunt action, he untaps after resolving that action.

Super cool fella! Now he doesn't work as well a part of a bloodline, but he doesn't have to. Use for of him and let him embrace Obamas. But him together with some Trujah or something. And you got a cool deck.

Lucinde, Alastor
Clan: Ventrue (group 3)
Capacity: 10
Disciplines: DOM FOR PRE obf pot tha
Camarilla Ventrue Justicar: Lucinde can enter combat with any ready non-Camarilla vampire controlled by another Methuselah as a (D) action. During your untap phase, you can burn the Edge to give Lucinde 1 blood from the blood bank.

Now Lucinde is one of my favorite vampires in VtM. Now I think it is a shame that I don't see her in action much. I don't think I've ever used her myself. It is also ashame that she's not more of a combat monster, that I think she should have been. I hope she "wins" the tournament and revives a advance version that makes it easier for you to make people redlist.
Lucinde's special is great in this tournament. Almost all of the bloodlines are either Sabbat or Indy. I think she'd be great with the Samedi. Some of them have Pot.

Battle Lines: Strategy guide. Part 1- Taking sides.

Well. It's time for another storyline. And as always, I'm thrilled. But my god is hard to make the deck I want to play.

In this Part 1. I will discuss which faction to play. First of you could play the Loyalists. Then you'll start with the master card Guide and Mentor in play. The card is quite good. You may take a action to gain a Archetype and blood. Quite nice. The Bahari on the other hand get the card Lilith's Blessing. Then you may use a masterphase action to tap LB and make a Non-Bahari get a Master: Discipline card, 3 blood and become Bahari. Now lets take a look on the individually.

Guide and Mentor

Exploits: Well, now you can become Perfectionist, Monster, Cavalier or Dabbler from the beginning.
How to stop it: Well, do you have to. I don't think this is as strong as the LB. I wouldn't concentrate on stopping them more than you should a normal opponent.

Lillith's Blessing

Exploits: If you play lot's of Villeins, LB will be a very strong card. You may also use Heidelberg to move the blood. You may even use Awe and force any vote! If LB is used correctly you may very soon have a pool total of 40!
How to stop it: If your prey plays LB with Villeins you are in big trouble. I think maybe some sort of Blood Deinal tech is a good way to halt a Bahari deck.
These four clans, I think, will have the most to gain from LB

Abomination: With them it would work great! This way they might get some disciplines consistency.
Ahrimanes: Villein + Vulture's Buffet. Now you can use Spirit Claws or other fun stuff.
Baali: Well, if they become Bahari, they don't have to pay to untap. So hey! They must become Bahari!
Blood Brothers: Depending on the circle, this can be good. Hermana Hambrienta Menor (2 cap) comes into play without blood. Now with them you may use any combo of pot + san + anything. Could be quite fun. Other circles might also be fun. With the Thicker than blood card. You may get out any BB at the cost of 2 pool. And hey! Only problem is that you most certainly the Parthenon.
Salubri: Empty you kindred the fill them up again with Renewed Vigor.

I still haven't decided what I want to play. But I probably gonna play Bahari.

10. Terranda Jackson. 13th generation Toreador from Mombasa, Kenya. Embraced by a New Orleans Vampire. Would be cool with a Toreador-Laibon ability. 2 cap vamp

9. Papa Zombie. Samedi. Just a cool name...

8. Vannevar Thomas. Ventrue Prince of San Fransisco. What do White-Wolf have against San Fran? Why haven't they made a Prince from SF before?

7. Tub of Flesh. A Nosferatu from the Midnight Circus. A he is...A Tub of Flesh. Floating flesh in a bathtub! He could be another Toy. But maybe Tzimisce Slave. He was, after all, discovered by Vycos.

6. J. Benison Hodge. Malkavian Prince of Atlanta. Killed during the fall of Atlanta.

This Ventrue was Prince of Hong Kong. But sadly killed when the Kuei-Jin took over. I would love to see him as the Ventrue Prince of Hong Kong with a special concerning Kuei-jin, which will eventually (hopefully) come.

I really would like to see her in the game. Always liked her story and her iron grip. I would make her like this
